| ‘If monetary and financial state agencies fail to act on principles on social justice, including equitable relations between generations, then such State is a destructive and immoral gang of highwaymen, both by its essence and in the eyes of its citizens’.
Oleksandr SAVCHENKO
The global financial crisis has detrimentally undermined the imperfect banking and financial system of Ukraine and has demonstrated inadequate management of financial services sector in Ukraine.
Millions of people and thousands of companies have sustained losses amounting to more than UAH 100 billion. In addition, commercial banks have suffered losses to almost the same extent.
Permanent political struggle has put aside all reforms in financial sector. Such shortsighted policy has resulted in crisis phenomena both in banking sphere and sectors of public and private finance, capital markets, and insurance services.
Our aim is stabilization and transformation of Ukrainian monetary and fiscal system up to the European standards.
